Our Story
Every building in New York depends on systems you rarely see — the invisible network of air, water, and steam that keeps the city running. For more than 35 years, Timbil Mechanical has been trusted to make those systems work flawlessly.
Founded in 1989 by Bill Ross Sr., a lifelong steamfitter, Timbil began as a small family business built on craftsmanship, reliability, and respect for the client. What started in a garage has grown into a dedicated team of skilled journeymen, project managers, draftsmen, and estimators delivering mechanical solutions across many of New York’s most iconic properties.
From Lincoln Center and the Empire State Building to the World Financial, Timbil’s work helps power the city’s most complex environments.
